Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
He’s here! Eoin (Owen) Timothy Clive has joined his big brother and sisters. He has finally left the wonderfully warm and gentle place called Mommy and entered a world where he can experience an even greater Love and more of it (with tons of kisses and hugs). Many people ask for his stats, well, I have to say that he is a nice size and weight (so no worries). But best of all, his breath is fantastic! If you’ve never sniffed the yawning mouth of a baby… that is (at least for me) one of the greatest pleasures in life. It is like smelling “pure.” It is the way I feel like God sees us (as He created us anyway).
Eoin has a little of each of his sisters and brother. So, he looks like himself (or as the green would say, “‘tis himself"). For all who keep stats, he was 10 pounds, 1.5 ounces (a half an ounce heavier than big sister Emma and way out of Maggie’s league). 21 and 1/2 inches long head to foot - not too bad. He’s got a nice head of short lighter brown hair (seems to be a little curly though) and what lungs - he cried for about an hour after birth.
Mommy has made it through another C-section. Jen wanted me to express to everyone how thankful she is for the prayers this time around. She was truly at peace with the whole procedure and her typical shaking that lasts for a few hours after surgery was minimal and lasted only 2 hours - unbelievable. We attribute it to prayer. We also attribute her lack of gestational diabetes (which she had during Seamus’ and Brigid’s pregnancies and usually you get in all or most future pregnancies) another miracle attributed to prayer. So thank you all.
She just needs a little extra prayer for complete healing from the surgery and return of her uterus to normal - with a big baby things get stretched pretty good and it takes a little extra to get things back to normal. So, please keep the prayers coming.
